Coventry-based precision sheet metal work and light fabrications company, MPL Fabrications is proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with Coventry Rugby Club.

MPL Fabrications in Dutton Road on the Aldermans Green Industrial Estate is celebrating its 40-year anniversary. Founded in 1982 the family owned business is commemorating the occasion by supporting another great Coventry institution – Coventry Rugby Club. This season MPL will be sponsoring one of the new additions to the squad, Harry Seward.

24-year-old tight-head prop, Harry Seward, joins Coventry from Ealing Trailfinders. The former Cardiff Met student has spent the last 3 seasons in the capital with the Championship winners, whilst enjoying game time on loan to fellow Championship club Ampthill. Harry was the first new name added to the Coventry Rugby playing squad for the 2022/23 campaign.

Harry made his debut on Friday in a victory over Bedford, hopefully, one of many victories in this season's championship campaign.

Commenting on the sponsorship Harry said; "Thank you to MPL Fabrications for sponsoring me for the upcoming season. Your support is really appreciated. I’m really looking forward to the season and hopefully, we can do you and the city proud!”

Coventry Rugby club were formed over 120 years ago and remains an integral part of sport in Coventry having a long and proud history, at one point having 13 players representing England.
